With an aim to providing an opportunity to demonstrate critical thinking and leadership skills, Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country have Youth Parliament for its students. In addition to this, Youth Parliament also acquaints the students with the processes and procedures of Parliament, techniques of discussion, debate and develops in them self-confidence, leadership qualities and the art and skills of effective oratory. This prestigious program encourages some of the brightest and most vocal students from Kendriya Vidyalayas to engage in spirited debate on matters of national and global importance.
